Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Apex Capital Advisors collects through this website, why we collect it, who processes it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
We only collect information you type into a form and submit. Depending on which form you use, that may include:
- Contact details — your name, email address, and phone number.
- Financing request details — the loan program you are interested in, the property state, the approximate financing amount, and any description of the opportunity you choose to provide.
- Loan program inquiry details — for a specific program inquiry, we also ask for your credit score, the subject property address and type, purchase price, estimated as-is value, and — depending on the program — rehab or construction budget, after-repair value, project experience, available liquidity, number of rental properties owned, occupancy status, market rent, and annual taxes, insurance, and HOA costs.
- Borrowing entity and eligibility details — the name of the entity that would borrow, and your US citizenship or residency status. We ask for residency status only because it affects which lending programs a borrower is eligible for. We do not use it for any other purpose, and we do not ask for immigration documents through this website.
- Loan application details — if you complete our loan application, it asks for what a lender needs to consider the loan: for you and any co-borrower, your Social Security number, date of birth, current and mailing address, income and available liquidity, real estate experience, and your answers to declarations about matters such as bankruptcy, foreclosure, judgments and lawsuits. It also asks about the borrowing entity, including its EIN, about the property and the deal, and for your signature.
We ask for your Social Security number and date of birth only on the loan application, and only because a lender needs them to verify your identity and — with the authorization you give by signing the application — to check your credit and background. Please do not send them through any other form, through the chat assistant, or in a description of your deal. We do not ask for bank account numbers, card numbers or copies of identity documents through this website; if a lender needs them, we will arrange a secure way to collect them.
Information collected automatically
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API, tools provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., to measure how well our advertising on Facebook and Instagram works. When you visit this website, the Meta Pixel places a cookie in your browser and tells Meta which pages you view and when you click certain buttons, such as “Let’s Start” or “Apply Now”. When you send us an enquiry, request a quote, or submit a loan application, we tell Meta that it happened and which loan program it was for, together with technical information such as your IP address, browser type and Meta cookie identifiers — but nothing you typed into any form. Meta may connect this with your Facebook or Instagram account and uses it under its own data policy.
The Meta Pixel does not run on our loan application form pages. For a completed application, Meta is told only on the confirmation page shown after you submit. You can limit this tracking through your ad preferences on Facebook or Instagram, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.
Our hosting provider also processes standard technical request data, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse.
How we use your information
We use what you submit to respond to your inquiry, evaluate a potential financing request, and communicate with you about it. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Information from the loan application, including your Social Security number and date of birth, is used to evaluate and arrange the financing you applied for, including the credit and background checks you authorize in the application. It is shared only with the lenders and service providers involved in that loan.
Who processes your information
Our website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., which also sends each form submission to us by email. Our email and the spreadsheet in which we record submissions are provided by Google. When you submit the loan application, your answers — including your Social Security number and date of birth — travel to us over an encrypted connection, arrive as an email containing your answers and a completed copy of the application, and are recorded in that spreadsheet. The Meta Pixel does not run on the application form, and none of your answers are sent to Meta — Meta is only told that an application was submitted, as described above. Where an inquiry moves forward, we may share relevant details with lenders, capital providers, or service providers involved in evaluating or arranging the financing you requested.
How long we keep it
We retain inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to and evaluate your request, and afterwards only as long as required for legitimate business or legal recordkeeping purposes.
A loan application is kept until the financing it relates to has ended — whether the loan closes and is repaid or does not go ahead — and afterwards only for as long as the law requires us to keep lending records.
Your choices
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
Security
This site is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we apply reasonable safeguards to information submitted to us. Only the person who reviews loan applications at Apex can open the email account and spreadsheet that hold them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is intended for business and commercial use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
